Insurance certificate: the individual data
The insured members of Syngenta Pension Fund receive a certificate of insurance at least once a year showing the current individual data.Whenever a change occurs having an impact upon the insurance situation, but at least once a year (typically at the end of April), the insured members receive an updated insurance certificate.The insurance certificate includes information about the funding system as well as the benefits provided by the pension fund.On request we can send you an insurance certificate. In the case of general adjustments, all insured members receive an information sheet containing explanations together with their insurance data.

Current reports and decisionsThe Annual Report of the Syngenta Pension Fund contain the management report, information on the equity market and on funding ratio trends, investment performance and pensions for anyone who is interested. Regulations
RegulationsThe management framework is provided by the regulations of the Syngenta Pension Funs. The wording of these regulations is exclusively binding. The regulations of the Syngenta Pension Fund govern the occupational benefits scheme for employees. How and when the six employee representatives have to be elected to the Board of Trustees is clearly regulated. The procedures for when a pension fund has to be partially liquidated and how this is carried out are clearly regulated.

Responsibilities of the Board of TrusteesThe Board of Trustees is a body run on a part-time basis and serves as the most senior body of the Pension Fund. In its work, it has to observe the applicable laws, the instructions of the supervisory authority, the deed of foundation, the regulations and the decisions of the Board of Trustees.The Board of Trustees issues the regulations of the Pension Fund. It defines the organization and the system of contributions and benefits. It also decides on the rules and regulations governing signatures and authority. It can appoint the executive director and the administrator, the auditors and the expert.More details on the responsibilities of the Board of Trustees are contained in the regulations.

The members of the Board of TrusteesThe members of the Board of Trustees: six employee (EE) representatives and six employer (ER) representatives make up the Board of Trustees. In addition, six “substitutes” are elected for each of the two groups of representatives.
