In December, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of 2.45%. The YTD return at the end of December was 4.6%.
The funding ratio is 117.5% at the end of December.

November 2020
In November, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of 3.86%. The YTD return at the end of November was 2.1%.
The funding ratio is 115.4% at the end of November.

October 2020
In October, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of -0.84%. The YTD return at the end of October was -1.69%.
The funding ratio is 111.4% at the end of October.

September 2020
In September, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of 0.48%. The YTD return at the end of September was -0.86%.
The funding ratio is 112.6% at the end of September.

August 2020
In August, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of 0.76%. The YTD return at the end of August was -1.33%.
The funding ratio is 112.2% at the end of August.

July 2020
In July, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of 1.1%. 
The funding ratio at the end of July was 111.6%. 

June 2020
In May and June the financial markets continued to recover and the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved returns of 1.2% and 0.8% respectively.
The funding ratio at the end of June was 111%.

May 2020
The first loosening steps, the so-called “Phase 2”, ensured a gradual recovery of the financial markets. In April, the Syngenta Pension Fund achieved a return of 3.66 % and at the end of April the funding ratio was 108.7 %.

April 2020
As a result of the spread of the coronavirus, the stock markets slumped sharply in March 2020 and market value losses resulted in a significant reduction in the funding ratio to around 106 %. Fluctuations in asset values have occurred repeatedly in the past. We are therefore convinced that, thanks to our good financial situation at the end of 2019 and our robust and broadly diversified investment strategy, we will overcome the Corona crisis in the long term.
